THINKING
I am still working on my online tool for creating simple Orthographic maps (including oblique views) without any GIS skills. The beta version is hosted here. I am not good at writing code and have relied on a lot of help from ChatGPT. One feature I am trying to add is the ability to select color palettes from famous artists, using the fabulous MetBrewer project by Blake Mills. I've been able to get it to work, but the interface is still clunky. Here are a few early tests.
The blue globe uses the Hokusai2 palette. Below are Europe with a Van Gogh and and an Andre Derain palette, as well as a view of the western United States with a Georgia O'Keefe palette.
