No coasts

Continuing the theme of making maps that are defined "by what they are not," here is a map of the state borders and main rivers of much of the central United States, "without the least vestige of [sea]." Perhaps also a corrective to bicoastal bias? Or at least a counterpoint to the maps I've made of the Northeast and west coast country boundaries.
